Privacy Policy

This page describes, in plain language, exactly what XRP Bridge does and doesn't do with your data. There's no account system and no forms on this site — most of what would normally go in a privacy policy simply doesn't apply here, so we've kept this short rather than padding it out with boilerplate that doesn't reflect reality.

What we don't do

We don't use advertising cookies, we don't build an advertising profile of you, and we don't sell your data to data brokers. We do use one analytics tool — see below — which is a different thing.

Analytics

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors actually use this site: aggregated click/scroll behavior, anonymized session recordings, and heatmaps. Clarity sets its own cookies to do this (Microsoft's own documentation covers exactly what it collects and how). We use this data to find and fix confusing or broken parts of the site — not to build advertising profiles, and not to sell it to anyone. If you'd rather not be included, use your browser's tracking-protection or cookie-blocking settings; the site works fully either way.

What's actually stored in your browser

Beyond Clarity's own cookies (above), one small, functional-only item lives in sessionStorage (which is not a cookie — it holds nothing across browser sessions and clears automatically when you close the tab): a short-lived cache of the live rate data, so the bridge calculator doesn't have to refetch it on every page within the same visit. This isn't used to identify you or build a profile. If your browser blocks sessionStorage entirely, the site still works — that cache just doesn't persist between page loads.

Server logs

Like effectively every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These aren't tied to a personal profile.

Live rate data

The bridge calculators fetch current XRP rates from our own API, which in turn sources data from a third-party market data provider. Your browser talks to our API, not directly to that provider, so your IP address isn't exposed to it as part of a normal page visit.

Swap partner

The site has a placeholder slot for a single sitewide swap partner that isn't populated with a real integration yet. If and when it is, any partner SDK that sets its own cookies or collects its own data will be disclosed here before that happens — not added retroactively.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children, doesn't knowingly collect data from anyone, and has no age-gated features.

Changes to this policy

If what this site actually does changes — adding analytics, ads with tracking, an account system — this page will be updated to match before that change goes live, not after.
